Men den stora hjälten för mig är Everlast a.k.a Erik Schrody.
Han har en bredd spridning på sin musik. Från hip-hop till blues, och han spelar även en del rock. Hans röst är så perfekt och helt jävlar underbar. Ofta hör man "han röst är som en smekning", men hans röst är verkligen just en smekning.
Han är en sucker på kärleksballader, något som jag igentligen hatar, rosa putti nutt och "love" och "kiss" i varannan mening får mig att klökas i ren protest, men han gör det snyggt, han gör det vackert och han gör det bra!
I vilket fall som helst har han gjort en låt, som alltid, alltid alltid är lika bra. Det är ingen av hans kärleksballader utan något helt annat. Den får mig alltid att rysa, och håret på armarna reser sig bara jag hör introt..

And then she heads for the clinic and

God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in her shoes.
I knew this kid named Max
He used to get fat stacks out on the corner with drugs
He liked to hang out late
he liked to get shit-faced and keep the pace with thugs
Until late one night there was a big gun fight and Max lost his head
He pulled out his chrome .45, talked some shit, and wound up dead
Now his wife and his kids are caught in the midst of all of this pain
You know it crumbles that way
at least that's what they say when you play the game
God forbid you ever had to wake up to hear the news.
